At the city level there is the covered square, the tree-lined area, the common area, the reception and the bookshop.

The square recalls the texture of the trunk which, with a series of growth rings, generates and guides both the structure and the environments.

The core of the square is located in the lift system, which directly rests the pivot that manages the parking spaces.

In the heartwood, the reception and the bookshop conclude the solid part of the idea, while the growth rings, enclosed in the sapwood, develop the common area and the trees.

The perimeter windows represent the book of the tree, while the bark was made through a vertical wooden skin that collects the entire volume.

The tree was the element of inspiration, so a series of poplars representing the crowd were placed in the area close to the urban node where the pedestrian and vehicular passage is concentrated.

The trees protect the passage up to the covered square, from which you can reach the main entrance of the Stockholm Workshop Center, or head towards the common area to spend some time, always remaining connected with the context.

Al livello città è prevista la piazza coperta, l'area alberata, l'area comune, la reception ed il bookshop.

La piazza richiama la trama del tronco che, con una serie di anelli di crescita, genera e guida sia la struttura che gli ambienti.

Il midollo della piazza è collocato nel sistema di risalita, il quale poggia direttamente il perno che gestisce gli spazi destinati ai parcheggi.

Nel durame la reception ed il bookshop concludono la parte solida dell'idea, mentre gli anelli di crescita, racchiusi nell'alburno, sviluppano l'area comune e l'alberatura.

Le vetrate perimetrali rappresentano il libro dell'albero, invece la corteccia è stata realizzata attraverso una pelle lignea verticale che raccoglie tutto il volume.

L'albero è stato l'elemento d'ispirazione, così, proprio nell'area a ridosso del nodo urbano in cui si concentra il passaggio pedonale e veicolare, sono stati collocati una serie di pioppi che rappresentano la folla.

Gli alberi proteggono il passaggio sino alla piazza coperta, dalla quale è possibile raggiungere l'ingresso principale dello Stockholm Workshop Center, oppure dirigersi verso l'area comune per trascorrere del tempo, restando sempre collegati con il contesto.
